The Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, confirmed to Sahara Reporters in a phone interview that embattled COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo was invited and questioned by the Police, over the alleged rape allegations levelled against him by Busola Dakolo.
Fatoyinbo who went to Abuja with his array of protocol members, was grilled at Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters, after the police discharged his protocol team. The interview team of four policemen led by Asst Commissioner of Police Adaku Uche Anya, had the chat with the pastor for over 4 hours.
Frank Mba,said the reason why it took long before the police could invite Fatoyinbo was because they were doing their underground investigations, and have spoken to several witnesses in order to build up their case. He confirmed that the police had also previously invited and grilled Mrs Dakolo, and it was deliberate to invite Biodun Fatoyinbo last.
Busola had accused Fatoyinbo of raping her twice when she was 17, a claim the popular pastor denies.
However, Fatoyinbo was released on bail after 4 hours, which drew some murmurs in some quaters, as many expected him to be detained.
